The Harwood Institute is recruiting for a university faculty member, staff member or graduate student, consultant, coach or independent researcher, scholar, or educator to serve as a Studio on Community Associate (Stipend opportunity for 20 hours/week for 9-12 months or 40 hours/week for 5-6 months / Bethesda, MD)
The Nathan Cummings Foundation is recruiting for the Nathan Cummings Foundation Fellowship supports visionary leaders by giving them boundless space to turn an inspired idea in the field of social justice into a world-changing reality. The Fellowship awards three individuals up to $150,000 each to pursue an innovative project that seeks to address a challenge related to climate change or inequality – or within the intersection of these two major issues. Each fellow will have up to $150,000 and 18-months to turn an inspired idea in the field of social justice into a world-changing reality. Applications due by December 14, 2018.
Open Society Foundations is recruiting for The Soros Equality Fellowship Program for applicants developing new projects that address racism and xenophobia to advance racial equity in the United States. Applications due January 10, 2019.
Repair the World is recruiting for The Repair the World Fellowship, which is open to individuals ages 21– 26 who are passionate about social justice, community engagement, and meaningful service to recruit and engage the Jewish community to address issues of hunger and education access through volunteering. The Urban Justice Center is accepting applications for their first ever Social Justice Accelerator which will provide mentorship, fiscal sponsorship, as well as overhead (office space, legal, accounting, etc.) to up to 5 projects that have a vision on how to make a positive impact for the most vulnerable and marginalized in New York City and our country.
