The Right People on the Bus - September 2019

The Right People on the Bus is a monthly round up of job, consulting, and fellowship opportunities that people connected to Optimistic Anthropology are recruiting to fill.  We do this because we love connecting people to resources and opportunities to shape a more positive world. If you end up applying for any of these opportunities, we'd love to know. And if you email to let us know, we might even be able to give someone a head's up to look for your application!

We add opportunities to this page on a rolling basis throughout the month! So, be sure to check back to see what’s new.

  • Civil Rights Corps is recruiting for Legal Fellows. CRC is an innovative and aggressive non-profit civil rights law organization based in Washington, D.C. Founded in 2016, CRC challenges wealth-based and race-based systems of oppression. CRC seeks candidates for two-year fellowships starting in Fall 2020. Fellows are provided the opportunity to participate in substantive ways in litigation, will receive supervision from and collaborate with CRC lawyers. The fellow will be expected to apply for funding for the fellowship with the focus of the fellowship to be mutually agreed upon by CRC and the fellow. However, Civil Rights Corps will guarantee funding for the fellowship in the event that outside support is unavailable. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
