Good Reads, Listens & Views from Q3 of 2019

One of the things we love to do, and is a core part of our practice at Optimistic Anthropology, is connecting people to resources they might not (yet) be aware of that will help them think about and do the work of positive and equitable social change.

In that spirit, we occasionally like to share some good reads, listens, views and more on the blog on topics relevant to our work and philosophy. Here is a round up from the Q3 of 2019.

I am an auditory learner and I love podcasts. And people keep making more great ones. So, I figured that the beginning of a new Gregorian calendar year was as good a time as any to round up some podcasts that encouraged me to explore different points of view, eras, industries, and experiences in 2018. I’ve highlighted a set of new podcasts for 2018, as well as some standout episodes of podcasts I’ve highlighted before that were released this year and I think are can’t miss.

November 2018 #GoodReads & #GoodListens

Each month we curate a set of #GoodReads & #GoodListens from the previous thirty days. Some of these recommendations are about building knowledge, process and cultures for social change, others are examples of anthropology in action, explorations of cultures and how they developed, and still others are fascinating things from the adjacent possible, in order to encourage the potential and serendipity created when you notice and connect the unlikely.
